With the arrival of our container from France, came a total transformation of our store. Everything's been changed and rearranged. The store's new look is very up-to-the-minute yet classic. Here are a few more samplings of our many French finds: space

What a wonderful look!

  • Our gorgeous French buffet is from the early 1900's. Although its made from a honey-colored oak, it has the look of old Irish pine. Long antique hinges and a beautifully carved diamond point design make this buffet a stand-out piece.

Measurements: 77"W x 21 1/2"D x 39 1/2"H Price:  $1795

  • The wing-back French Bergere chair also in the picture is one of a pair. It features beautiful carving with cabriole legs and is upholstered in a gorgeous cocoa velvet.

Price: $ 695 (pair)

  • The coffee table is a one-of-a-kind fantastic piece. Although it is not from France, we grouped it with the other pieces to show how the rustic and refined mix so well together. It's made of THICK old pine barn board with a three-plank top and handy bottom shelf. The legs are a chunky 6"x6" for solid support.

Measurements: 48"W x 29"D x 19"H Price: $695

space space Handmade French Hutch. Dating from the mid-to-late 1800's, this handsome chestnut piece came from the Picardy region of France. The cupboard and drawers provide deep, ample storage on top, while the slotted shelf on the bottom provides a place for larger pots and pans to dry. What a perfect blend of form and function!

Measurements: 51"W x 22"D x 69"H Price: $2195

space space Our gorgeous floor-length mirror and sumptuous fainting couch make for the most indulgent private boudoir.
  • The antique mirror is a Louis XIV with a beautifully carved walnut frame. We have it behind the chaise but it would work in many settings. Think about it in a foyer or dining room. Even a bathroom; it's very versatile.

Measurements: 47"W x 82"H Price: $1795

  • The fainting couch or chaise is finding new purpose in today's modern home. Not relegated to the bedroom anymore, these classic pieces are showing up in living rooms, family rooms, bathrooms and yes, bedrooms. Ours is especially nice with its lovely lines, tufted upholstery and intricately carved legs.

O N   S A L E ! Was $ 495 Now $ 295

space These pictures are from Vicky's recent  European trip. All the items were found at a fair in Lylle, France that has been in existence since the 1600's. Talk about tradition! Notice the cute little work bench above that would make a great sofa table. The French mannequins are awesome, too! space space The child’s armoire is a rare find--and it's pink, too!  The painted wine jug is very well done, as is the child's chair. The green iron horse's head is from an old hitching post. space space Stools and a pot rack at the lower left. space This window guard is much better than it looks. It's tall with curved front and sides. It would hold a window box if you like. The cart base behind will test our creativity! All of the items from Vicky's recent trip to Europe are en route to the United States on a shipping container and should be arriving at Victoria's Antique Warehouse by the end of the year. Stay tuned!
